Company Overview

This is an AI and data consulting firm composed of members with diverse backgrounds. The company operates its business based on a data science platform designed by former strategy consultants and professionals from AI companies. It provides end-to-end support across a wide range of industries including telecommunications, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and trading companies—from AI/data strategy planning to data platform development and operational implementation.

Job Description

The role can be broadly categorized into the following responsibilities:

– Support for AI and data strategy development (including management strategy, AI/data governance, and utilization scenarios, incorporating global market research)

– Support for AI and data infrastructure development (promoting optimal architecture and operation of large-scale, cross-organizational data platforms)

– Support for business and system development utilizing advanced technologies (driving projects from technical validation to operational validation of cutting-edge technologies with limited market precedents)

– Promotion of operational implementation and adoption of the above

Requirements

– Strong curiosity and a high willingness to learn new things
– At least 1 year of practical work experience
– Experience in data analysis for several months or more (self-learning experience acceptable)
– Japanese proficiency: N1 level
– Strong logical thinking ability, sharp insight, and capability to design sound business models
– Self-starter mindset with proactiveness, teamwork, perseverance, and willingness to handle hands-on tasks
– Strong documentation and presentation skills using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience in data analysis using tools such as Tableau/Power BI or programming languages such as Python/R/SQL
– High proficiency in both Japanese and English (many projects involve international team members)
– Experience in proposing and closing deals with executive-level stakeholders in B2B businesses (consulting, IT, HR, etc.)
– Experience in project management and delivery of intangible services
– Knowledge and experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence
– Experience in development, implementation, and operation of cloud services (e.g., SaaS)

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: JPY 4,000,000 – 7,000,000 (including 45 hours of fixed overtime per month)
Bonus: None
Salary Revision: Once per year
Probation Period: 6 months
Location: Tokyo / Remote work (4 days remote, 1 day in office per week)

Working Hours: Flexible working hours (core time: 11:00–16:00)
Holidays: Weekends and public holidays
Average Overtime: 10–20 hours per month
