Key Responsibilities

This position involves the end-to-end design and development of software for optical quantum computers. Specific responsibilities include building and operating on-premises and cloud servers that connect to the actual optical quantum computing hardware, developing user-facing SDKs and interfaces, and managing authentication and general system maintenance.

・Design, development, and operation of software systems related to optical quantum computers (on-premises and cloud servers, authentication systems)

・Development of user-facing SDKs and interfaces

・Collaboration with internal and external software development teams

・Close coordination with the hardware development department to define and align on technical requirements and challenges

・Gathering feedback through communication with clients and users, and proposing improvements

Requirements

・Practical development experience using multiple programming languages ​​(e.g., Python, C++, JavaScript) (3+ years)

・Knowledge of architecture planning and operations on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or the design and operation of on-premise servers

・Development experience in UNIX/Linux environments

・Experience using version control systems such as Git or GitLab

・Japanese proficiency at a conversational level (JLPT N3 or higher)

・English proficiency at a business level

Preferred Requirements

・Experience developing proprietary products

・Experience designing and implementing system infrastructure, including user authentication and authorization

・Experience designing and developing SDKs and APIs

・Ability to conduct internal discussions in English

・Foundational knowledge of optical quantum computers or quantum computers

・Practical experience working in a development environment involving collaboration across multiple teams

・Experience developing user-facing GUIs or web interfaces

・Experience designing systems based on security requirements

Terms and Conditions

• Annual Salary: 10 million JPY or higher (determined based on experience and skills)

• Bonus: None

• Salary Increase: Once a year

• Probation Period: 3 months

• Location: Tokyo
