Our Team

Sebastian Heredia

CEO

Sebastian brings nearly a decade of experience in recruitment in Japan, backed by over 16 years of living and working in Japan. His expertise lies in bridging the gap between Japanese companies and global talent, ensuring that both sides find the right fit for long-term success.
Before recruitment, he worked as a lawyer in Peru, specializing in labor law, where he gained a deep understanding of employment regulations and workplace dynamics. He also spent a period as a development adviser.
His professional recruitment journey began in 2015 with a deep curiosity about the changing world of work. Over the years, Sebastian has explored some of the most pressing questions companies and employees face:
Why do companies struggle to find the talent they need?
Why is employee disengagement so widespread across the globe?
And how will new technologies, especially AI, reshape the job market?
This passion for the intersection of global trends, technology, and human capital led him to build Global Recruitment Japan — a company dedicated to helping employers and candidates navigate the labor market with clarity, purpose, and adaptability.

Takayuki Nakamura

Senior Account Manager

With a career spanning IT, corporate operations, and recruitment, Takayuki brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to Global Recruitment Co., Ltd., where this marks his fourth professional chapter.
He began his career at a systems company, spending nine years working in system infrastructure roles, where he built a strong technical foundation. He then joined a trading company, where he worked for fourteen years in total—first in the internal systems department for seven years, supporting and managing in-house systems, and later in the accounting department, where he gained seven years of hands-on experience in finance and corporate operations.
Seeking a more people-focused role, he transitioned into recruitment, joining a recruitment agency where he spent four years primarily in sales. During this time, he consistently delivered outstanding results, achieving the highest sales performance in the company for two consecutive years.
At Global Recruitment Co., Ltd., his focus is on building scalable systems that enable the company to introduce a greater number of high-quality candidates who truly meet clients’ needs. At the same time, he is strongly results-driven, always acting with a clear awareness of how to expand the company’s profitability while creating sustainable value for both clients and candidates.
