They will use genome editing technology to enrich people’s lives and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

Job Description

Their bio-venture company, which utilizes genome editing technology, is seeking individuals to handle research and development in livestock breeding.They are recruiting for Assistant Researchers and Managers.

[Recruitment Background]

Due to the growing trend of their overseas business in collaboration with major trading companies, they are recruiting additional staff to strengthen their organizational structure and further grow their business. They are seeking members who can take on the development of livestock breeding.

Ideally, they would like candidates who can independently identify research themes and work on them, but they also welcome those who can quickly decide on a theme and work on development after joining the company.

Requirements

・ Master’s degree or higher in a life sciences field
・ Experience in livestock breeding research (experience in animal surgery is a plus)
・ Required Japanese language proficiency: Conversational level (N3 level) (Interviews will primarily be conducted in Japanese, but a mix of English and Japanese is acceptable if necessary)

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of genome editing
• Veterinarian preferred
• PhD preferred
• English language skills

Terms and Conditions

• Annual Salary: 4 – 6 million JPY

• Bonus: None

• Salary Increase: Once a year

• Probation Period: 6 months

• Location: Tokushima

• Social Insurance: Fully covered

• Working Hours: Super flexible work arrangement (no core time)

• Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays

• Average Overtime: 20 hours

• Smoking Cessation Measures: Non-smoking indoors

Selection Process

• Selection Flow: Interview 3 (Final interview is in person. Travel expenses will be provided.)

• Required Documents: They require a resume and a curriculum vitae (CV) for the initial screening.

• Interview Language: Basically, Japanese (English is also acceptable if you cannot explain in Japanese).
