Job Description

You will lead the end-to-end development—from design to operations—of a cloud service that combines AI analysis with data transmitted from IoT cameras installed at sites across Japan and around the world. Join us in using technology to transform equipment management for the industries that underpin Japan, such as manufacturing, infrastructure, and energy.

<Key Responsibilities>
– Design, development, and operation of backend APIs using Rust (Axum, GraphQL)
– Data modeling and performance tuning using PostgreSQL, Redis, and Azure Storage
– Setup and improvement of CI/CD pipelines
– Leading architectural design and technology selection, as well as conducting code reviews
– Providing technical mentoring and sharing knowledge with team members

Required Skills

– Experience in backend design and development for web services (ideally 6+ years)
– Interest in frontend development (no prior experience required)
– Experience with production-level development using statically typed languages ​​(e.g., Go, Java, C#, C++); candidates without Rust experience are welcome, and support for learning it after joining is provided
– Experience with data modeling and performance tuning using RDBMS
– Experience conducting code and design reviews within a team environment
– Ability to communicate effectively via text-based channels (required for a fully remote work environment)
– Japanese proficiency: JLPT N2

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience with production-level development in Rust
– Experience designing and operating GraphQL APIs
– Experience with operations in container orchestration environments (e.g., Kubernetes)
– Experience developing systems related to IoT, image processing, or machine learning
– Experience developing and operating B2B SaaS products
– English communication skills (required for working in a multinational team)
