This company is the Japanese subsidiary of a specialized trading firm for chemicals and pharmaceuticals headquartered in Mumbai, India. Its business activities include the import and sale of pharmaceutical raw materials and specialty chemicals, as well as contract manufacturing. It operates a headquarters in Tokyo and a branch office in Osaka.

They are seeking an experienced sales and business development professional to drive the expansion of their electronic materials and chemicals business in Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing relationships with manufacturers, trading companies, distributors, and key clients across the semiconductor, electronics, PCB (printed circuit board), and display industries.
Key Responsibilities
・Identifying new business opportunities within the Japanese electronics and semiconductor industries.
・Promoting and proposing the company’s portfolio of electronic materials and chemicals to manufacturers, OEMs, distributors, and trading companies.
・Building and maintaining long-term, trusting relationships with key accounts.
・Conducting technical and commercial discussions and negotiations with both new and existing customers.
・Collaborating closely with manufacturing, technical, and commercial teams in India to ensure timely customer support.
・Identifying new business opportunities by monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and the latest technologies.
・Preparing sales forecasts, business development reports, and market intelligence.
・Achieving established sales targets and contributing to the growth of the electronic materials and chemicals business in Japan.
■ Target Clients: Manufacturers and other companies in Japan.
・Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
・Experience: 8–12 years of experience in sales and business development within the electronic materials/chemicals industry.
・Network: Strong network and established relationships within the Japanese electronics, semiconductor, PCB, or display industries.
・Proven ability to develop new business and manage/maintain key customer accounts.
・Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
・Language Skills: Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
Work Location: Osaka
Salary: 10–15 million JPY
Probationary Period: 6 months
Benefits: Commuting allowance (up to 50,000 JPY/month)

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Average Overtime: 10 hours/month
Overtime Pay: Paid separately based on hours worked
