In this position, you will be responsible for simulating the performance of our optical quantum computers under various environmental conditions (specifically vibration and temperature). You will support the development and optimization of quantum computer hardware and contribute to resolving implementation-related issues that arise during actual system operation. Additionally, alongside product development, you may leverage your expertise in simulation to assist the Research Unit in solving specific challenges.
・Numerical simulation of hardware performance under vibration and temperature conditions
・Formulation of design strategies and evaluation of performance improvement measures
・Internal collaboration with Optics and Electrical Units to reproduce phenomena observed in actual systems and provide insights into physical hardware challenges
・Internal collaboration with the Research Unit to provide insights into physical hardware challenges
・Contribution to the creation of intellectual property (such as patents) to protect our competitive advantage
・Over 5 years of practical experience using multiple multiphysics simulation software packages (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus)
・Experience with modal analysis and harmonic response (acoustic) simulations
・Experience simulating steady-state and transient thermal problems involving airflow
・Japanese proficiency at a conversational level (JLPT N3 or higher)
・Business-level English proficiency
・Experience contributing to product design in collaboration with an internal development team
・Ability to proactively learn about a wide range of hardware and new physical phenomena to solve diverse challenges
・Knowledge of simulation techniques, including structural, electromagnetic, and coupled-field analysis
・Practical experience working in a cross-functional and collaborative development environment
Annual Salary: 10 million JPY or higher (determined based on experience and skills)
