Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for CAD modeling for optical quantum computers, creating component drawings, and preparing documentation related to assembly and specifications.

・Creating part/assembly models and specifications within a CAD environment

・Generating mechanical component, cable harness, and assembly drawings in compliance with industry standards

・Creating, updating, and managing revisions for engineering-related files (eBOMs, part specifications)

・Supporting development by designing test fixtures, mock-ups, and application-specific assembly tools

・Supporting development through direct communication with suppliers (e.g., obtaining quotes, clarifying specification issues)

・Providing 3D models and layouts to facilitate the proper evaluation of concepts and ergonomics

・Collaborating internally with development and research departments

Requirements

・At least 3 years of practical experience using CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks)

・Knowledge of industry standards (JIS and ISO) as well as geometric and dimensional tolerances for parts

・Technical English proficiency and a willingness to communicate in English when necessary

・Business-level Japanese proficiency

Preferred Requirements

・Proficiency in CAD environments and 3D modeling software

・Experience contributing to product design in collaboration with an internal development team

・Practical experience working with precision machinery (ideally involving spatial optical systems or micro-technology)

・Experience with optical and electrical components, connectors, and layout specifications

・Practical experience in a cross-functional and collaborative development environment

・Language proficiency enabling participation in internal technical discussions in English

Terms and Conditions

• Annual Salary: 10 million JPY or higher (determined based on experience and skills)

• Bonus: None

• Salary Increase: Once a year

• Probation Period: 3 months

• Location: Tokyo
