Job Description

You will be responsible for the design, development, operation, and project management of robot systems for their own products and contract development.

<In-house Products>

– Development of operation support software for remotely controlled/autonomous mobile robots

– User-facing operation screen design/control interface development

– Operational improvement and maintenance design based on field feedback

 

<Contract Development>

– Control software design/implementation support for industrial robots, mobile robots, and manipulators

– ROS/ROS2-based control flow design/node development

– Sensor integration, device control, and operation logic development tailored to customer specifications

 

<Technology/Development Environment>

– OS: Ubuntu

– Languages: C++ (including modern), Python

– Frameworks: ROS1/ROS2

– Version control: Git (Bitbucket)

– Project management: JIRA/Confluence

– Communication: Slack/Zoom/Google Workspace

Requirements

・5+ years of development experience in Python or C++. Experience in the launch, development, testing, and maintenance of robots and robot-like mechanical products(mechanically moving items such as multifunction devices and printers).

– Basic command operation in a Linux development environment

– Japanese ability : Business (JLPT N2 or above)

* Ability to communicate with customers at a business level

– English proficiency: Ability to communicate with international engineers at a business level

 

Preferred Requirements

– Experience with agile development using Scrum

– Experience building control nodes/Launch using ROS1/ROS2

– Experience implementing robot vision and sensor fusion systems

– Experience implementing AI/recognition and judgment algorithms

– Experience working collaboratively with mechanical design and microcontroller control (Arduino/STM32, etc.)

– Ability to communicate in English in an international team (reading and writing required)

 

Benefits

Salary: 6 million to 8 million yen (higher salary possible depending on experience)
