#125 Mechanical designer[Delivery Robot Development]

Company Overview

This startup is developing delivery robots. They are working to solve social issues such as labor shortages and improving the efficiency of logistics and on-site operations through delivery robots.
In September 2024, they were selected for NEDO’s Deep Tech Startup Support Program, which provides grants totaling over 2 billion yen.
In Japan, revised Road Traffic Act will come into effect in April 2023, allowing autonomous delivery robots to operate on public roads, making them a world leader in establishing laws allowing robots to operate on public roads.

Job Description

・Concept layout considerations
・Detailed component design and drawing creation
・Creating design evidence documents (design verification list, FMEA)
・Experimental evaluation
・Coordinating specifications with partner manufacturers.

■ Specific Job Description
You will be responsible for the mechanical design of automated delivery robots.
In addition to designing mechanical components, you will also consider the concept layout, including the placement of sensors and cameras to ensure safe autonomous driving.
You will also be responsible for technical coordination and schedule management with partner manufacturers.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with many people to create new things.

Requirements

・Work experience using 3D CAD
・Japanese ability: N1 (Fluent)

Preferred Requirements

– More than one year of mass production design experience
– Experience implementing CAE software and FMEA
– Experience extracting and documenting design requirements

Salary: 5 million to 9 million yen
