Job Description

As part of a multinational engineering team, you will be responsible for full-stack development of web applications/SaaS products utilizing AWS.

Specifically, you will lead the development of LLM-based platforms and applications for Japanese-language services, handling both backend development (primarily Python) and frontend/infrastructure (AWS) across the board.

*While English is the official company language, this position involves frequent communication in Japanese with team members.

■ Job Details: This is not a management-focused role; your primary role will be that of an implementation engineer who writes code.

<Full-Stack Development>
◇Frontend Development (Design, Implementation, Testing)
◇Backend/Server-Side Application Development (API Design & Implementation)
◇Database Design, Construction, and Operation (Especially MySQL-based)

<Infrastructure Design, Construction, and Operation using AWS>
◇Architecture Design and Implementation centered on ECS, S3, RDS, and Lambda
◇Security Design (Authentication, Authorization, Network Configuration, etc.)
◇Data Storage Design, Operation, and Performance Tuning

<Feature Development using Japanese LLM>
– Utilization and Integration of Large-Scale Language Models for Japanese Services
– Feature Design, Implementation, and API Integration using LLM

<Requirements Definition to Project Management>
◇Understanding Product Requirements and Translating them into Technical Requirements
◇Risk Management and Schedule Management
◇Prioritizing and Executing Tasks in a Multitasking Environment

<Team Development>
◇Agile Development using Git and Jira
◇Communication in English with Multinational Members
◇Collaboration with Other Departments such as Android, AI, Digital Twin, and Robotics Teams

Requirements(Not all requirements are necessary. ）

◇Practical experience in the following development and construction using AWS:
– Frontend development
– Backend/server application development
– Database design, construction, and operation (especially MySQL-based)
– Infrastructure design and construction (including security settings, data storage management, and operation)
◇ Experience as a highly skilled full-stack engineer
◇ Programming languages:
– Python
– Practical experience with either Java or JavaScript
◇ Practical experience with AWS services (ECS/S3/RDS/Lambda)

*The following are required.

* Required Japanese language skills: Conversational level

* Required English language skills: Business level

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with Japanese LLMs (Large-Scale Language Models for Japanese)
• Experience developing with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.)
• Experience leading projects from infrastructure design to application development from start to finish
• Experience working in startups or rapidly changing environments
• Experience as a technical lead with a focus on hands-on experience as a player

Terms and Conditions

• Annual Salary: 5 – 15 million JPY

• Bonus: None

• Salary Increase: Once a year

• Probation Period: 6 months

• Location: Tokyo

• Working Hours: Flexible hours. Core time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays
