The company’s core technology is one that minimizes robot control programming using AI (machine learning).
Reduced costs: Instead of expensive specialized sensors, it enables high-precision object recognition and picking using inexpensive, general-purpose cameras.
High versatility: Because robots learn autonomously in a 3D virtual space, it eliminates the need for extensive testing on actual machines, allowing for immediate adaptation to a wide variety of objects (workpieces). This position involves end-to-end involvement, from requirements definition to design, implementation, testing, and post-release improvements. You’ll collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and AI/full-stack/digital twin/robot teams to shape a service for the Japanese market.
*While English is the official company language, you’ll frequently communicate in Japanese with team members.
■Job Details:
This is not a purely management role; your primary role will be as an implementation engineer who writes code.
Business trips to client sites may occasionally occur. *The frequency is not expected to be high.
<Android Smartphone App Development>
◇Design, implementation, and testing of native apps using Kotlin (Android)
◇Screen and feature implementation based on UI/UX design
<Quality Control and Code Review>
◇Quality improvement and knowledge sharing through code reviews with team members
◇Continuous improvement such as performance improvement and crash handling
<Backend/Cloud Integration>
◇App development and implementation using cloud services such as AWS
◇Implementation of backend integration via REST API
◇Specification adjustment and requirements definition with server-side/infrastructure teams
<Team Development>
◇Version control using Git, task management using Jira, etc.
◇Feature implementation and improvement through collaboration with designers and other engineers
◇Collaboration and mutual support with related areas (AI/full-stack, etc.) as needed
* 3+ years of practical experience in Android (Kotlin) app development
* Experience using version control tools such as Git
* Basic skills in using task management tools such as Jira
* Understanding of basic programming concepts (object-oriented programming, asynchronous processing, etc.)
* Experience using cloud services such as AWS (and experience in developing and implementing smartphone applications targeting these services)
* The following language skills are required:
* Required Japanese: Conversational level
* Required English: Business level
• Experience releasing or maintaining commercial applications
• Experience with modern Kotlin-based Android development (Jetpack, Coroutines, etc.)
• Experience proposing improvements from a UI/UX perspective
• Experience developing in a startup or small, elite team
Annual Salary: 5 – 15 million JPY
Bonus: None
Salary Increase: Once a year
Probation Period: 6 months

Working Hours: Flexible hours. Core time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays
Average Overtime: 20~30 hours
