Global Recruitment

Company Overview

The company aims to bring quantum computing into practical, real-world use.

By realizing quantum computing, they seek to balance energy efficiency with high computational power, overcome the limits of information processing facing humanity, and contribute to the creation of a sustainable society.

They are a pioneering leader in the global quantum computing market, driven by proprietary optical quantum technology that enables room-temperature operation and excellent scalability. A diverse team of highly skilled professionals from various backgrounds and fields collaborates daily, transcending borders and disciplinary boundaries.

They welcome ambitious individuals who want to create world-changing “next-generation technology” firsthand and make a genuine impact on the global market.

The company is also well-capitalized, having raised a total of 7 billion yen in funding.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for creating libraries and development kits that enable users to program and execute quantum computations. Specific responsibilities include:

・Designing and developing Python SDKs and REST/gRPC APIs for external users to access photonic quantum computers

・Implementing client-side functionality to parse user-written quantum algorithms and computation requests, and to transmit them securely and rapidly to cloud or on-premise infrastructure

・Developing resources to enhance user convenience, including documentation (tutorials, API references), sample code, and CLI tools

・Improving SDK features and the overall developer experience based on feedback from clients and users

・Accelerating computation and data processing by creating Python bindings (using tools such as pybind11 or nanobind) for C/C++ core modules

Requirements

・Practical experience developing third-party libraries, SDKs, or API clients using Python (3+ years)

・Experience building CI/CD pipelines (using Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.), managing public packages (e.g., PyPI), and maintaining documentation

・Strong commitment to user interfaces (API and CLI design) and the ability to design with a focus on usability

・Technical communication skills in English (reading documentation and chat-based communication)

・Japanese proficiency at a conversational level (JLPT N3 or higher)

Preferred Requirements

・Experience using or developing existing quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq) or numerical computation libraries
・Experience developing large-scale simulations (e.g., in physics or finance) utilizing multi-GPU or distributed computing systems
・Experience launching and maintaining developer-facing tools or APIs for proprietary products (SaaS or B2B tools)
・Experience developing data visualization tools using Web/GUI interfaces (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript)
・Proficiency in spoken English (capable of participating in meetings and discussions)
