Position Summary

As a Bridge Engineer, you will play a key role in facilitating communication and project execution between our Japan-based stakeholders and our Bangladesh engineering organization.

You will work closely with project managers, AI engineers, software developers, and business teams to ensure smooth project delivery, accurate requirement translation, and high-quality development outcomes.

This position is ideal for someone who combines technical understanding with strong cross-cultural communication skills and enjoys working in an international environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Communication

  • Act as the primary liaison between Japan and Bangladesh teams
  • Translate and communicate business requirements, technical specifications, and project updates between stakeholders
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and technical discussions in Japanese and English
  • Ensure alignment of expectations, priorities, schedules, and deliverables

Development Support

  • Work closely with engineers to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues
  • Support project planning, task management, and progress tracking
  • Assist in quality assurance and delivery management
  • Coordinate issue escalation and risk management

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with product managers, AI engineers, software developers, and clients
  • Help bridge cultural and communication gaps across distributed teams
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency

 

Tech Stack

  • Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Azure

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform

  • Languages: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript

  • Frameworks: FastAPI, Next.js

  • Tools & Others: Docker, GitHub, Coding Agent

Required Qualifications

  • Native-level Bangla proficiency
  • Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2 or above preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Bridge Engineer, Technical Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or similar role
  • Experience working with offshore development teams
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience in Web application or SaaS product development projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI-related projects, machine learning systems, or Generative AI products
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development
  • Technical background in software engineering
  • Experience coordinating multicultural and distributed teams
  • Experience working with Japanese companies or Japanese clients
  • Cloud certifications or project management certifications
  • Professional working proficiency in English

Candidates with strong Web development bridge engineering experience are encouraged to apply even if they have limited AI experience.

Salary and Compensation

  • Annual Salary: JPY 5,000,000 – 7,000,000

    • Includes fixed overtime allowance (Covers up to 25 hours per month).

    • Additional overtime exceeding 25 hours will be paid separately in full.

  • Incentives: Trust-type Paid Stock Option system available.

 

Work Location

Full Remote Work Available (Open to residents anywhere within Japan)

  • Sapporo Headquarters: Sapporo, Hokkaido (Entire building is non-smoking)

  • Tokyo Branch Office: Tokyo (Entire building is non-smoking)

  • Probationary Period: 3 months

■ Working Hours & Style

  • Work System: Full Flextime (No core hours)

  • Standard Working Hours: 8 hours per day (60-minute break)

  • Overtime: Yes (Monthly average: 15 hours)

  • Remote Work: Full remote work available (Open to residents anywhere within Japan)

  • Remote Work Allowance: Monthly allowance provided for home office expenses.
