Job Description

As part of a multinational engineering team, you will be responsible for product development in the fields of digital twin, AI, and robotics.
In particular, you will lead the development of AI functions using large-scale language models (LLMs) and computer vision technologies.
*While English is the official language of the company, this position involves frequent communication in Japanese with team members.

■Job Details: This is not a management-focused role; your primary role will be that of an implementation engineer who writes code.

<Feature Development Utilizing LLM>
◇Design and implementation of front-end applications for SaaS
◇Prompt design, model tuning, and performance evaluation
◇(Utilization of LLM for Japanese services and tuning of Japanese models)

<Design, Implementation, and Optimization of Neural Networks>
◇Model compaction/inference acceleration through knowledge distillation, etc.
◇Optimization based on hardware characteristics such as CPU/GPU/NPU

<Computer Vision Domain>
◇Design and implementation of specific object recognition technology based on image input
◇Accuracy improvement through camera signal processing and preprocessing

<Large-Scale Data Processing>
◇Analysis of large-scale data, feature extraction, and construction of preprocessing pipelines

<Team Development>
◇Agile development using Git and Jira
◇Communication in English with multinational members
◇Collaboration with other departments such as Android, Digital Twin, and Robotics teams
◇Mutual support and collaboration across job boundaries as needed (cooperation based on expertise)

Requirements(Not all requirements are necessary. Japanese and English language skills are essential.)

* Strong interest in and practical experience with large-scale language models
* Experience implementing neural networks
* Experience in model optimization and efficiency improvement through knowledge distillation, etc.
* Experience developing SaaS front-end applications using LLMs
* Experience implementing specific object recognition technology based on image input
* Experience in team-based software development
* Experience using development tools such as Git and Jira
* Experience developing with Python (professional level)
* Continuously keeping up with the latest technological trends
* Ability to consider implementation based on hardware characteristics

* Required Japanese language skills: Conversational level

* Required English language skills: Business level

Preferred Requirements

• Development experience in languages ​​other than Python, such as C and C++
• Knowledge and experience with digital twin technology
• Knowledge of camera signal processing and image processing
• Experience in analyzing and processing large-scale data
• Experience working in startups or rapidly changing environments
• Experience as a technical lead with hands-on experience

Terms and Conditions

  • Annual Salary: 5 – 15 million JPY

  • Bonus: None

  • Salary Increase: Once a year

  • Probation Period: 6 months

  • Location: Tokyo

  • Social Insurance: Fully covered

  • Working Hours: Flexible hours. Core time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays

  • Average Overtime: 20~30 hours
