Adopted by leading Japanese automakers such as Nissan and Suzuki, their software has grown into a global product utilized at over 10,000 sites across 40+ countries.

Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the development of our proprietary product.

– About the Product –

An image recognition software that analyzes factory operations using just a single camera. Simply by uploading footage from the work site, the AI automatically detects repetitive tasks and measures all operations 24/7, 365 days a year. It contributes to improving site productivity by identifying work variations, missed steps, and inefficiencies.

Job Details

• Develop new features, draft specifications, and build products from the user’s perspective.
• Frontend development using Vue.js and Nuxt.js.
• Mobile development using Flutter and Kotlin.
• Server-side development using Go.
• CI/CD implementation and test automation.

 

Future Product Outlook:

• Expanding our product lineup around video analysis in the manufacturing sector (e.g., Kaizen →+ Training, Alert, etc.).
• Updating the product based on feedback and requests as adoption grows across a large client base.
• With the core product established, focusing on improving usability to build a product anyone can use.

 

Current Challenges:

• To realize our product vision and drive broader adoption, we need to accelerate new feature development, enhance testing, and expand insight analytics.

• Currently operating with a lean engineering team, leaving many areas untouched. By increasing headcounts, we aim to address these challenges, expand our user base, establish widespread adoption across the manufacturing industry, and expand globally.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Web Application Development (Backend or Frontend; approx. 3+ years).
• Experience developing with Go or Vue/Nuxt.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Japanese Proficiency: Equivalent to N2 or higher (Certification not required).

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering team management experience.
• Database design and construction experience.
• Web application architecture and development experience.
• Service development experience using AWS.
• Experience driving product growth.

Conditions & Benefits

• Salary: JPY 5,000,000 – 10,000,000 per annum (commensurate with experience and skills; includes 1 month’s bonus subject to company performance)

• Probationary Period: 3 months
