Our client provides Revenue-Based Financing (RBF), a financing method in which future projected revenue is purchased as receivables.
Using proprietary algorithms to forecast future sales, they operate a platform that enables fast and easy fundraising without equity dilution or collateral.
They have established Japan’s first RBF fund and completed approximately JPY 1.4 billion in total funding (Series A), and continue to grow rapidly.

Their team consists of members with diverse global backgrounds, and Over 40% of their members are foreign nationals.
They offer the opportunity to work in a multinational team (Asia, Europe, Central America, etc.).
They also offer a full-flex time system, hybrid work (generally 1–3 days in the office per week depending on the role), and full remote options depending on conditions.

Job Description

They are looking for a marketing professional to join their team to promote Revenue-Based Finance (RBF), which is still relatively unknown in Japan, and drive lead generation through web advertising. In the future, they envision you taking on the role of overall marketing manager, leading the business and organization.

 

Recently, they achieved a 200% increase compared to the previous year, and this year they aim for a 300% increase in RBF execution volume. To expand their business, they are focusing on marketing going forward. While they have primarily acquired leads through landing pages and customer referrals, they are also looking to explore new strategies. They are seeking a candidate for Head of Marketing to tackle a wide range of issues, including increasing awareness of RBF itself and establishing a marketing organization.

[Specifically]

• Planning annual and quarterly marketing strategies
• Managing and reporting on marketing KPIs
• Formulating and managing sales promotion budgets
• Designing and executing promotional tactics aimed at lead generation
• Content planning, production direction, and improvement
• Directing external partners (agencies, production companies, etc.)
• Discovering insights from market and customer analysis (quantitative and qualitative)
• Managing the marketing organization

Required Qualifications

• Experience in the entire process of marketing strategy, from planning to execution
• Management experience (approximately 3 years or more)

• Strong ability to build hypotheses based on numbers and logical thinking
• Ability to take ownership in a newly established organization and drive projects forward while engaging others
• English proficiency (ability to communicate with multinational members within the company)

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience in demand generation
• Experience in content marketing
• Experience operating HubSpot
• Experience working in the financial industry
• Knowledge of finance

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and skills (includes 45 hours of fixed overtime per month)
Stock Options: Granted after joining (based on performance)
Bonus: None
Salary Increase: Once per year
Probation Period: 6 months
Location: Tokyo, Remote Work (2 days remote, 3 days in office per week)
Social Insurance: Fully covered
Working Hours: Super flex (no core time; 8 working hours + 1 hour break between 5:00–22:00)
Holidays: Weekends, public holidays, and New Year holidays (Dec 30 – Jan 3)
Average Overtime: 15 hours
Smoking Policy: No smoking indoors
