Our client provides Revenue-Based Financing (RBF), a financing method in which future projected revenue is purchased as receivables.
Using proprietary algorithms to forecast future sales, they operate a platform that enables fast and easy fundraising without equity dilution or collateral.
They have established Japan’s first RBF fund and completed approximately JPY 1.4 billion in total funding (Series A), and continue to grow rapidly.
Their team consists of members with diverse global backgrounds, and Over 40% of their members are foreign nationals.
They offer the opportunity to work in a multinational team (Asia, Europe, Central America, etc.).
They also offer a full-flex time system, hybrid work (generally 1–3 days in the office per week depending on the role), and full remote options depending on conditions.
Recently, they achieved a 200% increase compared to the previous year, and this year they aim for a 300% increase in RBF execution volume.
* Continuously raise the organization’s level through direct training and evaluation of team members.
* Develop and support team leaders to achieve autonomous organizational management.
* Build a system and culture that can withstand organizational scaling.
* Collaborate with the CTO to create an organization capable of executing strategy.
* The CTO will make the final decisions on technology strategy. This position involves responsibility for “people and organization” while also being involved in technology.
<Specific Responsibilities>
① Direct Training and Evaluation of Members
・Continuous 1-on-1 meetings with members in both Engineering and Data domains
・Support for improving technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a growth mindset
・Responsibility for designing, improving, and operating the evaluation system
・Thorough definition of expectations and feedback
・Career path design
② Training and Supporting Team Leaders
・Continuous 1-on-1 meetings and management support for Team Leaders (TLs)
・Support for improving decision-making, management, and technical judgment skills
・Developing TLs to be able to autonomously manage their teams
・Identifying and developing next-generation leader candidates
③ Technical Involvement
・Participation in and review of important technical decisions
・Quality improvement and member development through code reviews
・Identification of technical issues and proposal of improvements
・Participation in architecture and design reviews
④ Recruitment Responsibility
・Designing recruitment strategies
・Interviews and closing
・Clarifying recruitment criteria
・Designing a talent portfolio aligned with the organizational phase
⑤ Organizational Management and Scaling Design
・Team structure design
・Clarifying roles and responsibilities
・Establishing a system for organizational expansion
・Monitoring and improving development productivity and quality
⑥ Regarding the Data Domain
・Data Engineering / Data Science Responsible for the team’s “people, organization, and results”
・Data TLs lead the expert decisions regarding analytical methods and model design.
・EMs are involved from the perspectives of prioritization, resource allocation, and organizational results.

・7+ years of engineering experience
・3+ years of management experience
・Experience overseeing multiple teams
・Experience in implementing recruitment and performance evaluation systems
・Experience scaling an organization in a startup
・Experience developing managers/team leaders
・Experience managing a data organization
・Experience with Fintech or mission-critical products
・Experience managing remote/global teams
